GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (GTC)

1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The General Terms and Conditions govern the legal relationship between event visitors and the SPREEHALLE Berlin. They are an integral part of the contract for the purchase of tickets for events.

If requested, SPREEHALLE Berlin will handle advance ticket sales for events organized by other event promoters taking place at SPREEHALLE Berlin. Organizers may make advance booking and ordering arrangements that deviate from the General Terms and Conditions of SPREEHALLE Berlin.

2. OPENING HOURS

The box office opens 1 hour before the event begins.

3. PROGRAMS AND STARTING TIMES

The SPREEHALLE Berlin event programs and their starting times are announced in the SPREEHALLE Berlin publications. We reserve the right to make changes. After the start of an event, visitors may be granted late admission, whereby no claim can be made to the previously purchased seat. There is no legal entitlement to late admission.

4. ADMISSION PRICES AND DISCOUNTS

SPREEHALLE Berlin publishes the applicable admission prices in its publications and announces them at the box office. SPREEHALLE Berlin has no influence on the charging of advance booking fees by external sales outlets. Sales are made via the Pretix ticket system.

Admission is free for the officially designated accompanying person of severely disabled persons; however, advance registration is required if possible. This can be done by telephone and email or purchased in person at the box office in the foyer, subject to availability.

Discounts are granted to eligible persons subject to availability. Discounted tickets can also be purchased via all common sales channels.

5. DISCOUNTS

We only allow the purchase of and admission with discounted tickets on presentation of a valid authorization card. Pupils, trainees and students up to and including the age of 35, refugees, the unemployed and those doing military or alternative service are entitled to a discount. For certain events, the contingents for discounted tickets are limited.

Valid proof of discount must be presented at the admission control. This does not apply to tickets purchased directly at the box office in the SPREEHALLE Berlin. Proof of this must be presented when paying for the tickets. If proof cannot be provided, the difference to the full admission price may have to be paid subsequently. Information on the amount and type of discount can be found online, in the program booklet and at the box office.

6. TICKET SALES AND TICKET RESERVATIONS

6.1. ADVANCE TICKET SALES AND BOX OFFICE

Tickets for the events at the SPREEHALLE Berlin can be purchased at the box office in the foyer and online. The buyer must check the correctness of the cards and the change immediately upon purchase. Subsequent complaints cannot be accepted. Only tickets for the event taking place are sold at the box office.

6.2. EXCHANGE AND REDEMPTION OF CARDS

There is no entitlement to the return or exchange of tickets. Changes to the program and changes to the cast also do not constitute a right of exchange or redemption. No replacement will be provided for expired tickets.

6.3. CARD LOSS

SPREEHALLE Berlin will not replace lost tickets. A replacement ticket can only be issued if it is possible to trace which ticket was purchased. In this case, the original card loses its validity. A replacement card fee may be charged.

6.4. TRANSFER OF ADMISSION TICKETS

The commercial resale of SPREEHALLE Berlin tickets is not permitted. The offering of admission tickets in or in front of the SPREEHALLE Berlin is not permitted.

6.5. TICKET RESERVATIONS

Reservations for events at the SPREEHALLE Berlin can be made by telephone, subject to availability. Reserved tickets must be paid for and collected from the SPREEHALLE Berlin box office on the day of the event 1 hour before the start of the event.
Ticket requests made in writing, by fax or e-mail will be processed in the order in which they are received. No guarantee of entitlement can be given. Tickets ordered and paid for online via Pretix must be presented digitally or as a printout before entering the SPREEHALLE Berlin. There is no entitlement to a return or refund via Pretix.

6.6. METHOD OF PAYMENT

Tickets ordered by telephone or in writing can be paid for directly at the box office in cash or cashless by EC card, Visa or Master Card.

6.7. WITHDRAWAL FROM THE RESERVATION CONTRACT

If payment for reserved tickets is not made within the specified period, these tickets will be released for resale without replacement and without feedback from SPREEHALLE Berlin.

6.8. EVENT POSTPONEMENT OR CANCELLATION

If the event is postponed, the ticket already purchased loses its validity and must be exchanged. Shipping costs and other expenses will not be reimbursed. Further claims are excluded. Tickets purchased online will be automatically refunded in accordance with the terms and conditions of the ticket provider Pretix.
The right to deviating or supplementary regulations for ticket sales is reserved. They will be published by SPREEHALLE Berlin or announced at the box office.

The SPREEHALLE Berlin reserves the right to exercise its domiciliary rights and to deny access to or exclude from the event persons who have made discriminatory, racist, nationalist or anti-Semitic statements or acts.

6.9. TIME SLOT TICKETS

In order to optimally manage the flow of visitors and thus comply with the applicable hygiene and distancing rules, it is necessary to book a time slot for special events. The time slot ticket allows access to exhibitions within the booked time slot.

7. HYGIENE CONCEPT TO CONTAIN THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

By purchasing the ticket, you agree to comply with the hygiene concept. Failure to comply with the concept may result in exclusion from the event.
