With the SPREEHALLE Berlin on the listed former AEG company premises, internationally known artists of the contemporary avant-garde find a free, cross-genre production and performance venue for performance, music theater, dance, installations and electronics. All projects have a transcultural and transmedial character and are always committed to social relevance.

The SPREEHALLE is expressly open to all actors in the independent scene in Berlin and beyond and is also the home of the Marc Sinan Company (MS/C), which realizes regional, national and international, transtraditional and transmedial music theater productions.

The SPREEHALLE is located in the new creative district on the banks of the Spree in Oberschöneweide, in the immediate vicinity of the Reinbeckhallen. After decades of transition after the fall of the Berlin Wall, something is being produced here again today: innovative and energetic art, music and performance art from a social driving force that sees itself as autonomous.
