JAHRESZEITEN reflektiert aus künstlerischer Sicht zwölf Monate Ausnahmezustand, in vier neuen Auftragskompositionen für Viola + Elektronik, Schlagzeug und Gesang. Neue Musik mit Improvisationen und Elementen des Jazz in einer Form, für die es bisher kein Repertoire gibt. In einer außergewöhnlichen Performance und Besetzung reflektieren die Kompositionen den Zeitgeist nach einem Jahr Pandemie und sind gleichzeitig ein Zeichen der ungebrochenen Hoffnung.

JAHRESZEITEN reflects, from an artistic point of view, twelve months of exceptional circumstances, in four newly commissioned compositions for viola + electronics, percussion and vocals. Contemporary music with improvisations and elements of jazz in a form for which there is no repertoire yet. The compositions reflect – in an extraordinary performance, with an unusual lineup – the zeitgeist after a year of pandemic whilst being a sign of unbroken hope.
