AT THE BEGINNING

AT THE BEGINNING

A transcultural online installation by Marc Sinan with choreography by Kettly Noël, Ensemble BlonBa and Neue Vocalsolisten

AM BANG can be experienced as an online version since May 1st, 2021. There is an introduction to this on our Instagram account @spreehalle_berlin. Recently we have also been showing a recording of the premiere on our website.

With AM BEGINNING, the SPREEHALLE Berlin will start from scratch in terms of content and timing in 2021. After the forced break, visitors can expect a space-sound installation that combines West African creation myths and European stories about the origins of the world. Traditional and religious music from Mali is confronted with contemporary music. Dance, song and video combine to create an immersive work of art. The choreographer Kettly Noël, the Djiguiya Orchestra from Bamako, the Marc Sinan Company and the Neue Vocalsolisten can be heard and seen. The space allows countless audiovisual perspectives. However, none is all-encompassing, but – like the perception of reality itself – always only a subjective, singular excerpt.

AM BANG can be experienced as an online version since May 1st, 2021. There is an introduction to this on our Instagram account @spreehalle_berlin. Since Neusatem we have also been showing a recording of the premiere on our website.

The online version of AM BANG is supported on Chrome, Firefox & Edge browsers. In order to support us in solidarity, solidarity tickets are still available in our online ticket shop.
